Do It Yourself 3 D Printers?

Just exactly what is 3 D printing? An earlier entry was made in this blog which demonstrated the 3 D Printing phenomena. There have been numerous design faires Worldwide attacking improvements in design to one day put one of these printers on everyone's desk next to their own computers using all open source. My own first exposure to building one's own originated with the Printrbot design where a fellow is attempting to raise capital through the "KickStarter" funding platform originated out of the USA. The design is very clean and truly inspiring! RepRap Wiki is a community approach where half the machine parts are built by the printer itself!! This certainly looks like a large step in the direction of ResourceFULLness So there's the RepRap Wiki community viewpoint originated out of Britain via RepRap Wiki.

"Marcel The Shell With Shoes On" is the creation of Jenny Slate & Dean Fleischer-Camp.

Jenny and Dean were thinking about doing an animation and put it together themselves. The animation has become a YouTube sensation and has resulted in the release of a children's book called "Marcel the Shell With Shoes On: Things About Me".
